Caretaker, Special Needs ​/ Learning Disabilities, Child Development​/Support

Ensure the school site is safe, secure, clean and well-maintained at all times.

WGPS is seeking a Caretaker to help maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff and visitors.

• Undertake general caretaking, maintenance and site security duties.
• Support the day-to-day operational needs of the school, including setting up facilities for school activities and events.
• Carry out routine health and safety checks and report any issues promptly.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers and other service providers as required.
• Provide support to colleagues and assist with additional duties as directed by the Site Manager or Bursar.

Driving duties may also be required from time to time; a full UK driving licence is desirable.

• Experience in a caretaking, maintenance, facilities or similar practical role is desirable.
• A reliable, proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and positive manner.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards and taking pride in your work.
• A full UK driving licence is desirable.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
