Step into the past and shape the future as a History Teacher in Brentwood’s vibrant secondary schools. We are seeking an educator with a passion for history and a talent for bringing historical events to life.

• Crafting and delivering a curriculum that makes history engaging and relevant
• Encouraging critical thinking and debate on historical perspectives
• Assessing student understanding with innovative and fair methods
• Participating in school events and history-related extracurricular activities
• Collaborating with colleagues to integrate history across the curriculum

• A degree in History or a related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in History
• Experience in teaching history at the secondary level
• A dynamic approach to teaching and a commitment to student engagement
• A dedication to fostering a love for learning about the past
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful completion of all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service
