£14-£18 per hour | Temporary Position | Split Shift

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Site Manager to join a welcoming primary school in Basildon
. This is a temporary position initially for one term
, with the exciting possibility of the role being extended for the remainder of the academic year
.

This role will involve working a split shift, covering morning and afternoon hours
, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a varied working day and is able to support the smooth running of the school site at key times.

As Site Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the school premises are safe, secure and well maintained. Responsibilities will include overseeing the day-to-day maintenance and security of the site, carrying out basic repairs, liaising with contractors and ensuring health and safety procedures are followed.

The successful candidate will be practical, proactive and able to work independently, with previous experience in a site management, caretaking or facilities role being highly desirable.

Location: Basildon
Pay: £14-£18 per hour, dependent on experience
Contract: Temporary - initially one term, with potential extension for the full academic year
Hours: Split shift - morning and afternoon

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
