My client has a strong presence in the industry and they are calling on skilled estimating managers to come in and lead the estimating function to deliver high quality tenders. Your Duties:

Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for mechanical and electrical installations

Review tender documentation, drawings, specifications and contract terms

Allocate workload effectively across the team to meet multiple concurrent tender deadlines

Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors and specialist installers

Provide technical and commercial input during the early stages of project development

Your Experience

Strong experience in M&E estimating within the construction industry

Degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, building services or similar

Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services systems

Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement routes

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and contract documentation
