We are seeking a dedicated Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Advisor to join a leading organisation committed to maintaining excellent standards across its operations. This role involves supporting the development and implementation of robust policies to promote a culture of safety and sustainability.

The

Successful Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will:
  • Develop, maintain, and review company policies, procedures, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with legislation and best practices.
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, recording findings and recommending improvements.
  • Lead safety and environmental training sessions for staff and contractors, encouraging best practices.
  • Monitor internal and external audit processes, ensuring readiness and compliance with standards such as ISO, FSC, and PCI.
  • Support incident investigations, producing reports, and tracking corrective actions for continuous safety enhancements.
The HSE Advisor will have:
  • NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) qualification and relevant health and safety credentials.
  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, logistics or similar setting with an understanding of HSE legislation and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse teams and external regulators.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
