Cargo Inspector

About You:

We are seeking someone willing to learn. You will independently assess the quantity and quality of materials including Crude Oil, Petroleum Products, Petrochemicals and Petroleum Gases. You will perform cargo sampling and take measurements to complete calculations for accurate reporting to the client.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in the petrochemical/Inspection industry is beneficial but not required
• Hold a valid driving license
• Willing to work unsociable and unpredictable hours
• Be comfortable with the physical demands of the role
• Able to work with limited supervision
• Have good problem-solving and organisational skills
• Ability to gain knowledge of relevant standards and perform the practical aspects of the job
• Good communication skills
• Be computer literate and numerate

About The Opportunity:

The role of an Inspector with Intertek is to perform volume/temperature measurements, sampling, calculations, and reporting to ensure that the customer receives an independent, accurate, and complete assessment of the quantity and quality of materials during transportation.
