Finance Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a growing, private equity-backed service business. This role is central to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, with a primary focus on technical accounting and compliance with UK GAAP, FRS standards, and IFRS. As the business scales, you will play a key role in strengthening financial controls and delivering high-quality reporting to senior stakeholders and investors.
Key Responsibilities:

• Full ownership of the month-end close process, including preparation and review of management accounts
• Ensure compliance with UK GAAP, FRS 102, and IFRS standards across all reporting
• Preparation of statutory accounts and coordination with external auditors
• Maintain and enhance internal financial controls and processes
• Provide technical accounting guidance and support across the business
• Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting to senior leadership and private equity investors

Skills and Experience Required:

• ACA or ACCA qualified accountant (practice-trained preferred)
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including UK GAAP, FRS 102, and IFRS
• Proven experience in month-end close and management accounts preparation
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders
