Noble Recruiting is working with a well‑established logistics business based in Basildon
, who are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys being involved in the day‑to‑day running of accounts and working closely with senior stakeholders.

• Accurately processing daily financial transactions
• Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Preparing management accounts, including accruals, journals, prepayments and bank reconciliations
• Credit control and debtor management
• Processing invoices using Sage 50
• Processing payments and preparing financial statements
• Liaising with the external accountant to support year‑end accounts and audits
• Ensuring all financial procedures and controls are adhered to

• Previous experience in a hands‑on accounts or bookkeeping role
• Experience using Sage 50 is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
