We have an exciting opportunity to start your career in patient care within Therapies at Basildon Hospital following an internal promotion. This role involves assisting the therapy team with patient assessment and performing treatment and teaching tasks such as mobility practice, stair practice and ADL practice.

• Safe use of physiotherapy and occupational therapy equipment and aids, ensuring they are available in appropriate places.
• Perform procedures you have been trained for and adhere to service standards; a senior staff member will supervise regularly.
• Collect and organise relevant statistical information as required by the Acute Therapy Lead and senior staff.
• Identify opportunities to improve the physiotherapy and occupational therapy service to provide the best patient care within available resources.

• Evidence of English maths GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent).

• Worked in healthcare setting.
