Umbrella Rate: £30.18/hr, increasing to £39.55/hr after 12 weeks (Inside IR35)

As a Business / Systems Analyst, you’ll help keep critical payroll systems running reliably across multiple countries, while contributing to improvements and programmes that genuinely move the needle.

- Support business-as-usual payroll IT activities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Gather, document and clarify requirements across stakeholders and technical audiences.
- Assist with structured testing, including UAT support and coordination of testing activities.
- Contribute to future programmes, particularly within the UK, while balancing competing priorities.
- Help interpret system architecture concepts and release processes to support delivery with confidence.
- Work effectively across multiple countries and teams to maintain momentum on key initiatives.
- Proven Business / Systems Analyst experience, ideally within payroll, HR or an HR/IT systems environment.
- Strong requirements gathering, stakeholder management and documentation skills.
- Experience supporting UAT and structured testing processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including translating business needs for technical teams (and the other way around).
- A basic technical understanding of system architecture diagrams, environments (such as dev, test, UAT and production) and release concepts is beneficial.
This Business Systems Analyst position supports the company’s goal of delivering dependable payroll operations and continuous improvement across Spain, Belgium and the UK. It sits within the Information Technology industry, where accurate processes, clear communication and reliable delivery are essential. Your work will help ensure payroll systems are fit for purpose today, while enabling transformation initiatives for tomorrow.
Location:Based in Dunton, Basildon, with a minimum of 4 days per week on site.
