We’re looking for an Operational Buyer to join our aftermarket HVAC parts team. This role is focused on ensuring parts are available to meet customer demand, support service teams, and maintain smooth day-to-day supplier performance.
It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys operational purchasing, supplier coordination, and solving supply issues in a fast-paced environment.
What you will do- Manage purchase orders for HVAC spare parts
- Follow up with suppliers on confirmations, deliveries, shortages, and backorders
- Expedite urgent or critical part requirements to support customer and service needs
- Help maintain the right balance of stock for fast-moving and critical parts
- Keep supplier, pricing, lead time, and part data accurate in ERP systems
- Work closely with customer service, engineering, and internal teams to provide updates on availability and order status
- Support improvements in supplier performance, backorder reduction, and overall parts availability
- Manage a high volume of part numbers with strong attention to detail
- Build effective day-to-day relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Use ERP systems confidently to maintain accurate orders, pricing, and lead-time data
- Prioritize urgent requirements while keeping day-to-day activity on track
- Work closely with customer service, engineering, and supply chain teams to support part availability
- Use stock, demand, and supplier performance data to make practical operational decisions
- Stay proactive, organized, and responsive in a fast-paced aftermarket environment
- Experience in purchasing, procurement, or buying
- Experience managing purchase orders and supplier communication
- Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar
- Background in manufacturing, engineering, technical products, or supply chain
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities in a busy operational role
- Experience in aftermarket, spare parts, or service-driven supply chains
- Exposure to HVAC, engineering components, or other technical products
- Understanding of stock management, availability, and replenishment planning
- Hands-on role with real impact on customer and service delivery
- Opportunity to work in a fast-paced aftermarket environment
