Monday to Friday (8:00am – 5:30pm)

Our client, a well-established accident repair bodyshop based in Basildon
, is looking to recruit an experienced Parts Assistant to join their busy team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused Parts professional looking to join a successful repair environment. The ideal candidate will have previous automotive parts experience, strong administration skills and the ability to work closely with workshop teams to ensure vehicles are repaired efficiently.

• Ordering and sourcing parts required for vehicle repairs.
• Checking deliveries and ensuring parts are correct and accounted for.
• Liaising with suppliers to manage availability and delivery timescales.
• Supporting the workshop team by ensuring parts are available when required.
• Maintaining accurate records of parts orders and stock.
• Updating internal systems and processing parts information.
• Communicating with colleagues to ensure a smooth repair process.
• Assisting with general parts administration duties.

• Previous experience within an automotive Parts Assistant / Parts Advisor role is essential.
• Experience working within an accident repair or bodyshop environment is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• Good communication skills with both suppliers and internal departments.
• Experience using Autoflow parts system would be advantageous, but not essential.

• £28,000 - £35,000 Salary depending on experience.
• Monday to Friday working hours with no weekend requirement.
• 28 days holiday including bank holidays.
