Committee Team Supervisor

The Committee Supervisor will be responsible for co-ordinating and managing the work of the Committee Team to ensure the delivery of a quality, effective, efficient and customer focused service. They will act as a go-to resource for expertise in the management and control of Council committees and decision making, including the management of relationships with Chairman, cabinet members and all of elected members;

staying updated on industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into strategies and policies for the service area; ensuring a high quality service is provided to the Council regulatory functions ensuring that all meetings are effectively managed and administered in accordance with legislative requirements.

You will also work directly with the Programme Management Office to ensure that all relevant projects are built into the Committee timetable and ensure liaison is taking place with the Leader of the Council where necessary.
