Salary: £18.54ph

Hours of work:
Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 7.30am-12.30pm

Overtime available - Mon-Thur x 1.5 - Sun x 2

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Are you an experienced Quality FAIRS Inspector looking to join one of the largest independent global manufacturers in the UK. Specialising in a wide range of aerospace production capabilities. Located in Basildon, Essex, dedicated to precision manufacturing, treatments, NDT, and repairs of metallic aerospace parts and finished components.

• Engineering or manufacturing background.
• Proven experience performing First Article Inspections.
• Experience with in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of aerospace quality standards.
• Experience working in a quality control / inspection environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Proficient in dimensional inspection techniques and the use of inspection tools.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Minimum 3 years  experience in Quality FAIRs Inspection.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent attention to detail.
• Experience in using a wide range of measuring and inspection tools.
• Recognized engineering apprenticeship, NVQ, or equivalent qualification is beneficial.
