Production Engineer

The role of Production Engineer involves the general and specific maintenance, preparation and repair of units whilst in our service centre. The activities range from general maintenance to specific work requirements developed from service worksheets and off-hire reports and in accordance with the Production process and training.

At times you may be required to attend client sites as directed to undertake on site works so a valid driving licence for cars and light vans is required. On these occasions a service van will be provided by the Company.

Other responsibilities include the general maintenance and housekeeping of the service centre and offices, correct disposal into skips of waste materials in accordance with material type, receiving stock deliveries and providing/receiving all necessary documentation when required, to delivery drivers collecting/returning units, and general duties that may be assigned to them. You must be willing to travel when required.

Ultimately you will report to the Production Manager but on a day-to-day basis you will be directed by the service centre supervisor.
