Buyer; Electronic Components

Are you an experienced Buyer looking to join a successful and growing manufacturing business?

NOTE Basildon is a leading Contract Electronics Manufacturer, providing complete manufacturing solutions to customers across a wide range of industries. We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Buyer to join our Commercial team and help ensure the timely supply of materials and components to support customer and production requirements.

As Buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing materials and components, managing supplier relationships and ensuring material availability to support production schedules. You'll play a key role in managing shortages, expediting deliveries, and maintaining accurate purchasing data within our MRP systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• We are looking for someone who has:
• At least 2 years' buying or purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment
• Experience using MRP/ERP systems
• Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and supplier management skills
• Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with in electronics manufacturing, electronic components or EMS environments would be advantageous but is not essential.

• Salary up to 34,000 dependent on experience
