AB-Zero is now entering an exciting stage of growth. As part of that expansion, the business wants to increase the number of commercial customers it works with, develop more long-term maintenance relationships and create a consistent pipeline of new opportunities.

We are therefore looking for an experienced and highly effective Telemarketer to become part of our growing team and directly support AB-Zero’s ambitious growth targets.

The Role

Your primary responsibility will be to generate qualified new business opportunities for AB-Zero.

You will proactively contact businesses and relevant decision-makers who may require commercial air conditioning, HVAC installation, servicing, repairs or ongoing planned maintenance.

Prospects could include businesses with existing air conditioning systems requiring maintenance, companies considering replacing or upgrading older systems, organisations moving into or refurbishing premises, and businesses requiring new commercial HVAC installations.

You may be speaking with business owners, facilities managers, property managers, contractors and other decision-makers responsible for their organisation’s premises or HVAC requirements.

You will make outbound calls to both cold and warm prospects, as well as following up on marketing activity, emails and other lead-generation campaigns.

This is not a high-pressure telesales role.

The objective is to start intelligent conversations, understand the prospect’s current situation and identify whether there is a genuine opportunity for AB-Zero to help.

That means being able to listen, ask great questions and uncover issues such as:

Existing air conditioning or HVAC systems requiring servicing or maintenance
Businesses without a current maintenance agreement
Ageing or inefficient equipment that may need replacing
Planned office, retail or commercial refurbishments
New premises requiring HVAC installation
Problems with existing heating, cooling or ventilation
Opportunities for ongoing planned maintenance contracts
Where a genuine opportunity exists, your job is to qualify it and arrange the appropriate next step for the AB-Zero team.

Key Responsibilities

Make outbound calls to prospective commercial customers.
Identify and speak with relevant business decision-makers.
Generate opportunities for AB-Zero’s installation, service and maintenance teams.
Follow up prospects generated through marketing and other business development activity.
Build rapport quickly with people who may have had no previous contact with AB-Zero.
Ask effective questions to understand the prospect’s existing HVAC arrangements and future requirements.
Identify and qualify genuine sales opportunities.
Arrange appropriate follow-up conversations, surveys or quotations for the AB-Zero team.
