Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and developers to deliver solutions
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure best practices
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tools, and methodologies
• Manage technical risks and ensure the timely delivery of projects
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments
• Provide on‑call support in 4‑hour slots, including weekends, as part of a rotating schedule (up to 3 slots per week)
• Hybrid work model with flexibility to work remotely or in the Windsor, Connecticut office

• 8+ years of experience as a senior .NET software engineer
• Must have: C#, .NET 6 or later, REST, Graph
  
  QL, Docker, Rabbit
  
  MQ, Postgres, Open Telemetry
• Good to have:
  Mass Transit, Marten
  
  DB, CQRS, Event Sourcing, Frontend development
• Hands‑on experience with microservices and transformation from monolithic to microservices
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams
• Application profiling, debugging, and performance tuning
• Technical leadership and architecture experience – lead decisions on technology stacks, design system architecture, and ensure scalability and security
• Experience coaching developers, reviewing code to ensure quality standards, and promoting best practices such as testing and documentation
