Senior Embedded Software Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join an innovative technology business developing next-generation IoT systems

This is a genuinely hands-on role where you'll play a key part in developing embedded firmware, integrating hardware and sensors, and helping bring cutting-edge products from concept through to production.

Working within a small, highly skilled engineering team, you'll have real influence over technical decisions, product development and future platform evolution. If you enjoy solving complex engineering challenges and want to see your work make a tangible impact, this role offers plenty of autonomy and ownership.

The Role

* Design and develop embedded firmware in C

* Integrate new hardware and sensors into existing platforms

* Work closely with electronics and software engineers

* Debug, test and validate embedded systems

* Support products through the full development lifecycle

* Contribute to future product architecture and technical direction

About You

We're looking for an engineer with commercial experience in embedded systems who enjoys building products rather than simply maintaining legacy code.

You'll ideally have experience with:

* Embedded C

* ARM-based microcontrollers

* Embedded firmware development

* Hardware debugging

* Sensor integration

* IoT or connected devices

* Reading schematics

* Product development from concept through production

Experience with in areas such as IoT, industrial automation, smart buildings, environmental monitoring, medical devices or other connected embedded products would be highly beneficial.
