A well-established and successful Truck and Trailer Rentals Company based in Basildon is looking for a HGV Class 1 driver to join the team.
Responsibilities as HGV Class 1 Driver- Assisting with daily deliveries and collections of vehicles and trailers to the surrounding areas.
- Presenting vehicles and trailers for MOT.
- Carrying out daily checks on shunters.
- Keeping yard tidy and shunting in yard vehicles that are required for hire.
- Getting vehicles ready for hire, valeting, and carrying out operational checks.
- Delivering vehicles to other depots within the group.
- Collecting new vehicles from body builders.
- Must have a Full Driving Licence HGV Class 1
- CPC and Digi card holder
- A good knowledge of the area.
- Flexibility is required
- Overtime as and when required.
This is a full‑time role working Monday‑Friday, 07:00 - 17:00. In return, you will receive a salary of up to £42,000 per annum.
