Tax Advisor, Tax Manager
Develop a valuable specialism in US and UK personal tax while receiving the training and senior support needed to progress.
The opportunity sits within an established accountancy and advisory firm with a strong international outlook and a well-developed private client practice. Its specialist US/UK team advises individuals and families whose financial affairs cross both jurisdictions.
The role provides a strong grounding in US and UK tax compliance, but development will not stop at preparing returns. As your experience grows, you will become involved in increasingly complex matters, including dual filing obligations, foreign tax credits, international reporting and the wider tax implications of living, working and investing across borders.
Structured technical training, direct access to experienced colleagues and Partners, and support towards relevant qualifications are central to the firm’s approach.
Responsibility will increase as your confidence develops. Over time, this will include greater ownership of client relationships, elements of portfolio management and involvement in advisory work for internationally mobile individuals and businesses.
The position would suit someone with experience in US or UK personal tax who wants to establish a long-term career in cross-border taxation. Some exposure to both systems would be helpful, although the team can support someone looking to build that knowledge.
Hybrid and flexible working are available, alongside private medical insurance, pension, life assurance and 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays.
This is a chance to develop specialist international tax expertise with a clear route towards greater client responsibility and management
