Do you enjoy organising information, spotting patterns and helping people make better decisions? We're looking for a Data Manager to join a small, friendly school in Basingstoke, just a short walk from Basingstoke train station. This is to start from January 2026 on a full‑time basis. You don't need school experience - we're open to candidates from other sectors with good IT skills, strong attention to detail and confidence working with data systems.

About the role

You will manage the school's data systems and turn information into clear, simple reports that help leaders understand attendance, progress and wider school patterns.

Full training will be provided on the school's software.

Hours and salary
  • 30 hours per week (8:30am-3:00pm)
  • Term time only + 1 week
  • Salary: £19,266 (actual salary for this working pattern)
What you'll be doing
  • Managing and updating the school's data system (training provided)
  • Producing clear reports for staff and senior leaders
  • Keeping records accurate and organised
  • Supporting colleagues with IT or data‑related queries
  • Handling scheduled returns and basic compliance tasks
