Vehicle Technician

Our esteemed client, a leading prestige automotive dealership in Basingstoke, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated workshop team. Competitive basic salary up to £32,282, with an OTE of £46,500
Monday to Friday working hours, 8.30am – 5.30pm
Saturday mornings on a rota basis, 8.30am – 1pm
25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

Conducting service checks and repairs efficiently and accurately
Performing diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issues
Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI)
Upholding the dealership’s high standards of professionalism and customer service
Maintaining workshop cleanliness, tools, and equipment
Supporting the team with additional tasks as required to ensure workshop productivity

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent certification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Full UK driving licence
Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician within a dealership environment
Excellent work ethic with a positive attitude
Motivated to improve knowledge and skills
Strong team player who maintains high standards of quality and professionalism
