Bodyshop Mechanic Vacancy - Basingstoke

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bodyshop Mechanic in Basingstoke. This role offers a competitive salary and a great working environment for professionals looking to advance their automotive repair career.

• Salary: from £45,000 depending on experience
• Hours:
  
  Monday to Friday 7.30am – 4.45pm, no weekends
• Environment: bodyshop workshop, variety of vehicles
• Qualifications:
  
  NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in vehicle mechanical repairs

• Perform all‑round mechanical repairs within a busy workshop environment
• Undertake servicing tasks, including heavier repairs and general maintenance
• Work on a range of tasks in the service bay, ensuring quality workmanship
• Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining high safety and quality standards
• Assist with additional repair and maintenance tasks as required

• Proven experience as a vehicle technician/mechanic or similar role within an automotive workshop
• Level 3 qualification in vehicle mechanical repairs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and a committed work ethic
• Comfortable handling a range of mechanical repairs, including timing belt work and heavier jobs
