We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Indirect Procurement Manager to join a newly formed, centralised, European Procurement team on a contract basis. This role will be responsible for managing selected indirect procurement categories, with a strong focus on General Services and Technical Consultancy. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional who is available for a 6‑month fixed‑term contract, thrives in a fast‑paced, international environment, and is confident managing sourcing activities end‑to‑end.
Key Responsibilities- Manage assigned indirect procurement categories, with a primary focus on General Services.
- Lead sourcing activities from end to end, including supplier identification, RFQ/RFP management, negotiations, supplier selection, and contract finalisation.
- Ensure competitiveness, service quality, supply continuity, and contract compliance across assigned categories.
- Identify and deliver cost‑saving and value improvement opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, monitoring supplier performance and service levels.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective sourcing strategies.
- Support procurement planning, reporting, and spend visibility activities.
- Contribute to supplier rationalisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong background in indirect procurement.
- Experience managing sourcing processes independently.
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration abilities – ideally gained in a role with European geographic scope.
- Comfortable working with suppliers and stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Analytical, structured, pragmatic, and results‑oriented.
- Confident working with spend analysis and supplier proposals.
