Old Basing Village Nursery School is a well‑established, welcoming early years setting at the heart of the local community. We pride ourselves on providing a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued and inspired to learn through play.
With strong links to families in the village and a commitment to high‑quality early years practice, we are looking for a dedicated, caring and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Educator to join our supportive and experienced team. The RoleAs an Early Years Educator, you will play a key role in supporting children's learning and development during these important early years. You will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, play‑based learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework and our unique curriculum
- Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment where every child can thrive
- Support children's daily routines, wellbeing and emotional development
- Observe, assess and contribute to children's learning journeys
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of care and education
- Build positive, professional relationships with parents and carers
- Contribute ideas and enthusiasm to support the continued development of the nursery
- Level 3 childcare qualification (or equivalent)
- Has experience working in an early years or nursery setting
- Has a good understanding of the EYFS and child development
- Is warm, reliable, and passionate about supporting young children
- Communicates well and enjoys working as part of a team
- Takes pride in creating a positive, engaging learning environment
- Friendly, supportive team with a strong community feel
