Fawkes and Reece are now assisting in the search for a Quantity Surveyor to join a super prime residential contractor in Basingstoke. The contractor focuses on new build/extension of bespoke homes and refurbishment of listed buildings valued between £20 million and £100 million.
About the role of Quantity SurveyorAs Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for either managing your own smaller scale project or working within the commercial team on larger scale schemes.
Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor- Take projects from Estimator handover
- Manage sub‑contract procurement
- Manage sub‑contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
- Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
- Deal with final accounts
- Proven track record working with reputable main contractors
- Experience managing a project as commercial lead on site
- Experience working on super prime residential schemes is beneficial but not essential
- Have the full right to work in the UK and live within a commutable distance to Basingstoke
- Salary:
Up to £65k - Company Car / Car Allowance
- Excellent pipeline of projects
