Site Manager

Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for Site Manager on a 5 month contract based in Basingstoke

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a major substation project, managing site operations safely and efficiently while ensuring works are delivered to programme and the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day delivery of M&E upgrade works on a live 132kV / 33kV substation.

Coordinate subcontractors and direct labour on site.

Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications and programme.

Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.

Lead site briefings, toolbox talks and daily coordination meetings.

Liaise with the client, project management team and other stakeholders.

Oversee RAMS, permits, quality inspections and project documentation.

Monitor progress and resolve site issues to ensure successful project delivery.

Essential Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Manager on HV substation projects.

Strong background delivering Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) upgrades.

Experience working on live 132kV and/or 33kV substations.

Current SSE Authorisation is essential for site access. (Cat 1 Minimum)

SMSTS.

CSCS Card.

First Aid at Work.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.
