Senior Authorised Person
Basingstoke
3 month initial contract
Key Responsibilities- Act as the Senior Authorised Person (SAP) for 132kV works.
- Manage HV safety documentation, switching schedules and permits.
- Oversee construction, installation and connection activities.
- Coordinate contractors and site teams throughout the build phase.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with SSE safety rules and procedures.
- Support testing, commissioning and final energisation.
- SSE Authorised Person (MV/HV) approval is essential.
- Proven experience working on 132kV substations and transformer replacement projects.
- Strong background in construction, installation, commissioning and grid connections.
- Ability to manage site safety and HV operations in a live electrical environment.
