Skills Project Officer

Salary: £27,000.00 - £33,000.00 Per year Part Time Salary based on 14.5 hours - up to £12,932

SNG's Employment, Skills and Inclusion team offer a personalised service of guidance, support and practical help to any SNG resident.

We're looking for a part-time Employment & Skills Project Officer, on a 12-month Fixed term contract, to join the team to provide efficient and effective project, triage and administrative support to the Employment, Skills and Inclusion Team.

The role will be based in either our Hurn or Basingstoke office, working 2 days per week (14.5 hours) in the office. The team is spread across SNG's geography, so there may be some additional travel required on occasion.

• Co-ordinating and distributing essential support for customers
• Responding to customer queries to establish their needs and ensuring the appropriate support and onward referrals are in place
• Responding and appropriately dealing with additional service enquiries received into the inbox, team Dynamics tasks and via the SNG website by customers, colleagues and external organisations.
• Administering, co-ordinating and implementing the delivery and monitoring of customer grants and support interventions
• Processing finance requests
• Supporting with other Employment and Skills related projects

This is a fast paced and rewarding role which would suit someone looking to utilise their strong customer service and administrative skills.

You don't need to have previous experience in a similar position, as we're keen to hear how your transferrable skills would make you the ideal candidate. Youmust be passionate about people and helping to take action that can help improve their circumstances and opportunities, have an interest in community investment and customer support.

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Excellent record keeping and attention to details
• Ability to work with empathy and patience in a fast-paced environment
