Main duties of the job About the Fellowship ProgrammeThe programme as either a 12 or 24 month contract designed for you to reach your competencies and move on to UK specialty training programmes. You can do this by having 4 or 6 monthly rotations within different specialties at Core Fellowship level.
We've created our fellowship programme specifically to hone your clinical skills in a supportive environment; a programme, tailored to your level of experience, aims to support you in becoming the best doctor you can. Once completed, you'll be equipped with the tools you need to take the next crucial steps of your career.
The placements will be based in Royal Hampshire County Hospital (RHCH), Basingstoke & North Hampshire Hospital (BNH) & Andover War Memorial Hospital (AWMH).

Base SalaryCore Fellowship MT03 - £52,656
Person Specification Professional Qualification Essential- Be up to date and fit to practise safely and aware of own training needs
- 2 years postgraduate experience of working as a doctor
- Foundation competencies signed off or CREST form
- Evidence of relevant academic and research achievements, e.g. degrees, prizes, awards, distinctions, publications, presentations, other achievements
- Evidence of involvement in an audit project, a quality improvement project, formal research project or other activity
- Advanced Life Support Certificate from the Resuscitation Council UK or equivalent
- Previous UK SHO or equivalent experience
- Contribution to teaching sessions
- Commitment to personal and professional development
- Evidence of participation in extracurricular activities/achievements relevant to programme applied for throughout career progression.
- Knowledge and evidence of participation in Quality Improvement Projects
- Applicants must have demonstrable skills in written and spoken English, adequate to enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues;
