The programmes combine classroom learning, outdoor education and real‑world work experience to provide meaningful and lasting opportunities for our learners.

The team works across three hubs – Basingstoke, Fareham and Winchester – and you will be based in one of these locations depending on your role and area of focus.

Key responsibilities
  • Offering tailored support in literacy, numeracy and digital skills.
  • Building strong, supportive, positive relationships with learners, using a strength‑based approach to help them grow in confidence and independence.
  • Providing 1:1 and small‑group support in the classroom, helping learners complete tasks and develop essential skills.
  • Using coaching techniques to guide and help learners become confident, independent and resilient.
  • Working alongside Tutors to support the design and delivery of Individual Learning Plans (ILPs), identifying learning gaps and providing targeted support.
  • Supporting annual reviews for your caseload of learners, ensuring their objectives are reflected in ILPs and group profiles.
  • Assisting learners in the workplace, offering support to both the learner and employer to ensure a successful placement. You will act as a key link between learner, employer and Tutor.
Why Hampshire Achieves?

This role offers a rewarding chance to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people across the county. You may be required to travel across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, so flexibility is essential.
