At Chiltern Way Academy Trust, we are dedicated to supporting young people with ASC and SEMH through innovative and nurturing education. We are looking for a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to help our students thrive both in and out of the classroom.
What You’ll Do- Support teachers in delivering learning activities
- Work with individuals and small groups to help them progress
- Promote positive behaviour, engagement and independence
- Help create a calm, safe and supportive learning environment
- Build positive relationships with students and staff
- Assist with basic planning, preparation and classroom organisation
- Someone patient, flexible and enthusiastic
- Able to build positive relationships with young people
- A team player with good communication skills
- Experience working with children or young people
- GCSE English & Maths (A-C) and ideally NVQ Level 2
