Year 5 Teacher Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons for Year 5 pupils
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
Communicate regularly with parents and carers regarding pupil achievement and wellbeing
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages confidence and independence
Use a range of teaching methods and resources to support different learning needs

Year 5 Teacher Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching in a primary school, ideally as a Year 5 Teacher
Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
A commitment to helping every pupil achieve their best
