About the Role:

The appointed Year 1 Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons that support pupils through this key stage of their educational journey. The school is seeking a Year 1 Teacher who can build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues while maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour. Working alongside experienced teaching assistants and staff members, the Year 1 Teacher will help create an inclusive learning environment where all pupils feel encouraged and supported to achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing clear feedback and support
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school
* Encourage pupils' personal, social, and academic development

The Ideal Candidate :
The successful Year 1 Teacher will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1. The school is looking for a Year 1 Teacher with excellent communication skills, strong classroom management abilities, and a genuine passion for supporting children in their early years of education.
