A highly regarded primary school in Basingstoke is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Teacher to join its Key Stage 2 team from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a Year 3 Teacher who is passionate about delivering engaging learning experiences and supporting pupils as they continue their educational journey.

The Role

As a Year 3 Teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence. The school is looking for a Year 3 Teacher who can establish strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues while maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
Encourage pupils' personal, social, and academic development
Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to achieve the best outcomes

About You

The ideal Year 3 Teacher will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, although ECT applications are welcomed
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
A genuine commitment to helping every child succeed
