A supportive and inclusive primary school in Basingstoke is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate SEN TA to join their team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and is considering a future career in education, psychology, speech and language therapy, or mental health support.
The successful Graduate SEN TA will play a key role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential within a nurturing and well-structured school environment.
Role Overview
As a Graduate SEN TA, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored support for pupils with a range of special educational needs. You will help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment where all learners can thrive.
This role is ideal for a Graduate SEN TA looking to gain meaningful, hands-on experience in a primary school setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
Assist with classroom learning and targeted intervention work
Support pupils' communication, social development, and emotional wellbeing
Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals
