Temp to Perm position
- September start.

Salary - £28,598.00 - £31,022.00 Annually (FTE) - NJC Range 5, Actual salary £24,515- £26,593

Academics are recruiting on behalf of a successful Secondary SEMH school in Basingstoke who are looking for a Support Manager to join them in September. The school caters for pupils with social, emotional, communication and interaction difficulties (SECID) between the ages of 10-16 years.

You will be supported by a dedicated and inspiring staff team, who create a nurturing learning environment where young people can thrive and achieve their full potential. This is the ideal role for someone who is passionate about working with children in an alternative education environment.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a strong Support Manager who brings empathy, resilience, and is commitment to making a difference. You will be instrumental in supporting students through challenges, promoting positive behaviour, and contributing fully to school life.

Responsibilities
  • Support Manager to manage the behaviour and wellbeing of students with SECID.
  • Work closely with the Support Team Lead to implement effective behavioural strategies.
  • Build strong relationships and ensure consistent communication across the school community.
  • Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a nurturing learning environment.
  • Support students through challenges and contribute to school life.
