Overview
We have a brand‑new opportunity for a Level 4 Apprentice Electrical Power Networks Engineer, to join our team, supporting a number of exciting projects for SSE in the South East. Clancy is a great place to start your career, as we're a corporate member of the AOA (Association of Apprentices), that connects apprentices across the UK via a dedicated social and professional networking platform.
Responsibilities- Analysing data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities
- Designing complex distribution infrastructure, including Substations, Cable Systems and Overhead Lines.
- Using tools like Auto Cad and Revit.
- Visiting sites to gather on the knowledge of constructability, areas of engineering difficulty and key risks.
- At least Five GCSEs at grade C/4 (or above) which must include English, Maths and Science
- Level 3 qualification in Engineering or A Levels in Maths and Physics
- A full UK driving licence as you will be required to attend site visits
- Support throughout the apprenticeship, to help you achieve a fully funded Level 4 recognised Electrical Power Networks Engineer qualification.
- Upon successful completion of your Level 4 qualification, you will have the opportunity to continue achieving qualifications and eventually becoming chartered.
