Associate Geoenvironmental Consultant — Basingstoke (Hybrid Working Available) — £70,000 - £75,000

A well‑established and growing environmental consultancy is looking to appoint an Associate Geoenvironmental Consultant to join their team in Basingstoke. This is a key strategic hire aimed at strengthening both technical delivery and business development capabilities within the geoenvironmental division.

This role is ideal for a Chartered Scientist (CSci) with a proven track record in delivering complex contaminated land projects and, importantly, the ability to win and develop new business.

You will take a leading role in managing and delivering geoenvironmental projects while also driving growth across the region.

• Leading and delivering contaminated land and geoenvironmental projects
• Providing technical oversight and mentoring junior staff
• Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
• Identifying and securing new business opportunities
• Preparing and reviewing technical reports (Phase I/II, risk assessments, remediation strategies)
• Supporting the strategic growth of the team and wider business

• Chartered Scientist (CSci) or working towards chartership
• Strong background in geoenvironmental/contaminated land consultancy
• Demonstrable experience in business development and winning work
• Excellent report writing and project management skills

• Leadership experience or readiness to step into an Associate‑level role
