We’re looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our expanding Water Solutions team as we help deliver some of the UK’s most ambitious and long‑term water infrastructure programmes. With roles available across Basingstoke, Croydon, London and St.Albans you will have the opportunity to support multi‑billion‑pound capital delivery frameworks and contribute to high‑impact projects spanning infrastructure and non‑infrastructure across AMP8 and AMP
9.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead on the design and delivery of projects ranging from small rural upgrades to complex, multi‑million‑pound schemes. You will work as part of multi‑disciplinary teams, collaborating with internal and external partners, including Tier 1 contractors and key water utility clients.

    • Lot 1 – Non‑infrastructure water projects

  • SDP Lot 3 Infrastructure Framework – Delivering sustainable wastewater infrastructure in partnership with Tier 1 contractors

• Electrical and ICA Design
  :
  Undertake the design and review of electrical and ICA deliverables, including calculations, drawings and technical reports for wastewater and water infrastructure/treatment projects.
• Delivery
  :
  Conduct feasibility studies, outline and detailed design, and provide construction/commissioning support.
• Quality
  :
  Ensure high technical quality, contribute to bids and maintain client relationships.
• Project Management
  :
  Deliver to agreed budget, programme and quality, and support preparation of project budget & programme.
• Mentor
  :
  Delegate tasks, direct and oversee the work of others and act as a technical mentor to more junior staff.

• BEng or MEng in Electrical Engineering with experience in water and wastewater treatment.
• Progress towards Chartered Engineer status with a relevant Professional Institution.
• Experience in the design of water and wastewater engineering deliverables preferred but not essential; we also consider candidates from outside the industry.
• Self‑confident problem‑solver who can take ownership of challenging technical issues and see them through to resolution.
• Detail‑oriented and able to produce and coordinate deliverables.
