Job Description

  • Level of Supervision & Responsibility:
    Work independently using an already established understanding of civil engineering and best practices and be able to provide meaningful input to the design process
  • Project & Technical Accountability:
    Duties may include technical responsibility for a major phase or component of a project. Takes lead role in workflow co‑ordination
  • Collaboration:

    Work in conjunction with engineers of multiple disciplines as part of the iterative design process
  • Technical Skills & Systems Knowledge:
    Knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Revit and CDE environments, namely ACC/Forma & Projectwise.
  • Engineering Design, Data Collection & Analysis:
    Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established and well‑defined methods. Work on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests
  • Maintain Standards:
    Support the CAD Lead in maintaining CAD standards, best practices, and processes for modelling, content creation, and advanced digital developments

Qualifications

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Certified Minimum of a HNCo or Equivalent

    Qualification:

    In an engineering discipline
  • Software Proficiency:
    Proficient in using Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D. Familiarity in other 3D modelling software such Autodesk Revit and experience invalidating and coordinating models in Navisworks or similar software
  • An Individual seeking to advance Revit skills and aid in building a future‑proof skilled Revit team. Assisting with in‑house skill‑sharing.
  • The ability to align and create suitable Ports CAD Standards, develop templates and best working practices
  • Common Data Environment

    Experience:

    Experience working in a Common Data Environment such as Project Wise, ACC/Forma.
  • Must have or be able to obtain SC clearance with no caveats, in order to support our numerous defence project opportunities.
