Senior Engineer

Responsibilities

• Mentor Project and Assistant Engineers and manage direct & subcontract works.
• Ensure the highest standards of Health & Safety are maintained on site.
• Provide support to the commercial team in managing costs and maximising engineering efficiencies.
• Manage integration of Civils scope from design to construction and interface with other disciplines.
• Write tender scope and technical specifications for Civils engineering works.

• Strong understanding of contracts.
• Experience in CRE & TWC roles within rail, groundworks or structures.
• Ability to mentor and manage engineering team.
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations and practice.
• Strong communication and planning skills.
• Motivation to manage integration and interfaces between disciplines.
• Mandatory drugs & alcohol screening.

Based at the Gravesend office, working with the Earthworks team covering schemes primarily across the Kent route.
