£48-50K basic + £4.8K car allowance + Overtime (OTE up to £70K with O/T) and Excellent benefits

We have an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Field Service Engineer to join a world-leading engineering organisation specialised in the design and manufacture of high-power capital equipment and special purpose machinery used in various industries.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning and repair of the companys high power industrial machines/equipment at customers sites worldwide.

Although a Field position, however the successful candidate must be based within a commutable distance to the company in Basingstoke. When you are not at customers sites, you will be required to carryout tests and repairs at the HQ in Basingstoke. Your time will be split 50:50 between travelling and working at the HQ.

Experience/Skills required for the Field Service Engineer

• Previous electrical repair/service experience preferably gained in a field service role
• Experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment servicing and commissioning special purpose machines or capital equipment.
• knowledge of power and electronics and basic mechanical handling would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of PLC in commissioning and fault finding is desirable however not essential as full training on ...
