I'm currently working with a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy that is expanding its Civil and Infrastructure team. The business has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality development infrastructure projects across both the public and private sectors
, and they are now looking to appoint a Senior Civil / Infrastructure Engineer to support continued growth.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who enjoys taking ownership of projects, mentoring junior staff and working closely with clients to deliver practical and sustainable infrastructure solutions.

As a Senior Civil / Infrastructure Engineer
, you will be involved in the design and delivery of a wide range of infrastructure projects from initial concept through to detailed design and construction support
.

Key responsibilities include:

• Producing highway, drainage and infrastructure designs to current industry standards.
• Preparing 2D and 3D highway alignments and infrastructure layouts using Civil 3D and AutoCAD
  .
• Developing drainage strategies and SuDS designs
  .
• Managing and commissioning surveys, technical studies and reports
  .
• Leading smaller projects
  , ensuring delivery to programme and budget.
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to Graduates, Engineers and Technicians
  .
• Liaising with clients, local authorities and other project stakeholders
  .
• Supporting the wider team in identifying follow-on work and new project opportunities
  .

You will also work closely with transport planning and water engineering specialists on larger multidisciplinary developments.

To be considered for this role, you should have experience working within a consultancy environment and be confident delivering infrastructure design projects with minimal supervision.
Ideally, you will have:

• A BEng/BSc in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in the civil/infrastructure design field

• Strong working knowledge of Civil 3D and AutoCAD
  .
• Experience designing highways, drainage and SuDS schemes
  .
• Good understanding of DMRB, Manual for Streets, Section 38, Section 278, Section 104 and the Code for Adoption
  .
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive and collaborative approach to project delivery.
• Chartered or Incorporated ICE status
  , or be actively working towards professional accreditation.
