Hours:

Monday–Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45

Friday: 08:00 – 15:45 (early finish)
We’re looking for a Lift Repair Engineer to cover Basingstoke and surrounding areas.

This is a hands‑on role focused on repairs, fault finding, and keeping lifts running reliably. You’ll be working across a local patch, dealing with breakdowns, worn components, and more complex faults.

You’ll manage your own work day‑to‑day, with support from a local supervisor when needed.

Your Patch:

Covering Basingstoke and nearby areas

Local, structured patch

Mix of commercial, residential and public sites

No unnecessary long‑distance travel

Lift Repair Engineer Responsibility:

Carrying out repairs and fault finding on lifts

Diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues

Replacing and upgrading components

Attending breakdowns and supporting call‑outs Getting lifts back into service safely and efficiently

Lift Repair Engineer Job description

Qualifications Lift Engineer Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair)
Full UK driving licence
