Are you ready to help lead a team of talented engineers and shape the future of water infrastructure?

Join our dynamic and multidisciplinary Water Team as Senior Structural Engineer in one of our Southwest & Wales offices - whilst also taking advantage of our flexible hybrid working model. We’re at the forefront of innovation, delivering an exceptional portfolio of water programmes and projects through long-term partnerships with key clients - including major UK water companies (Wessex Water, Welsh Water, Southwest Water locally), contractors and international projects.

This role represents a great opportunity to develop your career as a technical expert delivering solutions on a diverse range of projects that meet the technical challenges of today and tomorrow.
Here’s what you’ll do:

Structural Design:
Undertake the design and review of structural elements on wastewater and water infrastructure treatment projects, such as water-retaining structures and other water related assets, from concept through construction.

Collaborate:
With Clients and AECOM counterparts to ensure stakeholders buy in to solutions, and also contribute to AECOMs wider technical capability and innovative approach.

Quality:
Produce and review deliverables, including calculations, drawings and technical reports to relevant standards and procedures. Deliver:
Take responsibility for delivering to the agreed budget, programme and quality along with supporting the preparation of project budget & programme.

Explore:
Seek opportunities to innovate and trial new methods by being inquisitive and forward thinking.

Mentor:
Delegate tasks, direct and oversee the work of others and act as a technical mentor to more junior staff.
