This is far more than a traditional financial accounting position. You'll have ownership of high-profile capital projects, exposure to senior stakeholders, responsibility for key balance sheet areas, and the opportunity to influence financial decision-making across the business.

With a strong succession plan already in place, this role offers genuine long-term career progression and the chance to develop into a more senior leadership position.

What You'll Be Doing

Leading capital and fixed asset accounting activities
Owning key balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
Supporting monthly and annual financial reporting
Partnering with operational and project teams on major investment initiatives
Driving process improvements and strengthening financial governance
Acting as a key contact for audit and compliance activities
Mentoring and developing a junior member of the team
What We're Looking For

ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA qualified (or finalist)
Strong financial accounting and reporting experience
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
A proactive mindset with the confidence to challenge and improve processes
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
