Finance Business Partner - Basingstoke / hybrid

The opportunity:Strategic Financial Leadership
- Support the delivery of a finance strategy aligned with wider business goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing insight on performance, planning, and operational development.
- Work closely with global finance teams to ensure consistency in financial practices.
- Resolve complex financial queries raised by senior leaders and operational teams.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic plans.
- Produce high-quality financial analysis, including trend reporting and scenario modelling.
- Provide clear, actionable financial advice to non-finance teams.
- Collaborate with senior management to guide decision-making and challenge performance.
- Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and improved reporting.
- Prepare insightful reports and presentations highlighting key drivers and performance trends.
- Monitor and challenge business performance to ensure alignment with financial and operational goals.
- Finalist or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels with fantastic communication and partnering skills.
- Proactive, commercially focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Excel modelling skills; experience with Power BI highly desirable.
