Finance Business Analyst

We’re looking for a Finance Business Analyst to join our Finance team, which can either be based in Basingstoke with regular travel to Crewe or based on-site in Crewe.

This is an exciting opportunity to support operational performance, drive cost transformation, and influence key business decisions in a fast-paced, values-driven environment. Ideal for a commercially minded finance professional with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• up to £60,000 per annum
• Monday – Friday (37.5 hours a week)

Your key accountabilities will include:

• Partnering with the operational leadership team in Crewe to provide financial support and drive cost transformation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls to safeguard assets and minimise financial risk.
• Lead weekly forecasting and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and accountability.
• Conduct weekly and monthly financial reviews, providing insightful commentary to operational teams.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, oversee depot balance sheet ownership, and support annual budgeting and reforecasting processes.

Your skills and experience will include:

• Strong understanding of the business, market dynamics, and financial management practices.
• Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
• Highly analytical, with the ability to communicate complex financial insights to non-finance teams.
• Confident communicator and presenter who operates with discretion, confidentiality, and integrity.
• Driven and tenacious in delivering the finance agenda while demonstrating behaviours aligned with company values.
